STELLA L. ASHLEY, DIRECTOR
Ms. Ashley holds a Comprehensive Skills Certificate (CSC) from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID), a Level V certification from the Texas Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TCDHH), and is a State of Texas Certified Court Interpreter. Ms. Ashley has an AAS Degree in Interpreting from Eastfield Community College and has over 40 years professional Interpreting experience. Ms. Ashley is currently the President of Texas Society of Interpreters for the Deaf (TSID), is a lifetime member with TSID, North Central Texas Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (NCTRID), and RID. Ms. Ashley is a former Board Member of RID, and former TCDHH Board for Evaluation of Interpreters (BEI) Board Evaluator. Ms. Ashley also currently serves on the advisory committee for various D/FW Interpreter Training programs. |

TENNIE SMITHEY, INTERPRETER COORDINATOR
Ms. Smithey has over 20 years experience being involved in the D/deaf community. Ms. Smithey is responsible for MIS billing, scheduling and a variety of administrative functions. Ms. Smithey is a former Chair of the TSID Interpreter Coordinators Special Interest Group, and is currently enrolled at Collin County Community College pursuing her AAS Degree in Interpreting. |

RANADA STAGGS, STAFF INTERPRETER
Ms. Staggs is a TCDHH Level II Interpreter. Ms. Staggs has over 12 years of interpreting experience in a variety of settings. Ms. Staggs is the Intern/Practicum Coordinator for MIS, and is also a past President of the North Central Texas Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (NCTRID), and is a member of TSID and RID. |

GWEN BENNETT, STAFF INTERPRETER
Ms. Bennett is a TCDHH Level III Interpreter. She has a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington, a Bachelors degree in Government and Politics from the University of Texas at Dallas, an AAS in Interpreting from Collin County Community College, and an AAS in Legal Assisting from El Centro Community College. Ms. Bennett has over 6 years of interpreting experience in a variety of professional settings. Ms. Bennett is also a member of TSID and RID. |

STEPHANIE CHAVEZ, STAFF INTERPRETER
Ms. Chavez is a TCDHH Level I Interpreter. She has several years of interpreting experience in a variety of professional settings. She has an AAS Degree in Interpreting from Collin County Community College, and is currently pursuing her Bachelors degree. Ms. Chavez is also a member of TSID and RID. |
